The Challenge – Organisation Design

A Finance team struggling with workload in a rapidly scaling organisation came to us for help realigning for improved delivery of services. They needed a new functional structure that could scale with their strategic goals and increased funding.

The Changify Solution

We developed a capability framework, groupings, structure and role design of the future state organisation, including PD development in line with their in-house guidelines. We also delivered a Change and Transition Plan to support internal communications and staff transition and engagement.

Our solution entailed:

  • Facilitating ‘Voice of the Customer’ interviews and data gathering
  • Conducting research into the future of finance to factor in emerging trends
  • Faciltating finance workshops to gather input and establish team buy-in
  • Coaching and supporting leadership through the change to build confidence and enable effective change conversations

The Outcome

Collaboration with the team was fundamental to the outcome. Our client partner now has a more effective finance function, with roles right sized to client groups and role incumbents equipped with role specific PDs to drive performance.
